ClickFunnels 2.0 launched in October 2022, transforming itself from being just a sales funnel builder to a much more robust all-in-one business builder tool. It’s a huge step up from the ClickFunnels 1.0 version that many of us online entrepreneurs had come to use and trust.

What is ClickFunnels 2.0?
ClickFunnels 2.0 is a powerful SaaS all-in-one business builder tool, built for entrepreneurs who want to market and grow their business online.
The ClickFunnels 2.0 release was first announced in 2021 at the company’s annual Funnel Hacking event in front of a raving fan base of Funnel Hackers.
The upgraded platform enables you to create funnels, add a blog, build a store for physical products, and manage your leads and customers using robust marketing automation tools.
Co-Founders, Russell Brunson and Todd Dickerson are the tag team duo behind the popular software. Their ClickFunnels 1.0 version originally launched in 2014.
By the time the revamped ClickFunnels 2.0 launched in October 2022, over 100,000 entrepreneurs had already discovered and were using the software.
ClickFunnels 1.0 vs 2.0: Differences
One of the biggest differences between ClickFunnels 1.0 vs 2.0 is they were each developed on separate platforms, meaning they run independently of one another.

Migrate from ClickFunnels 1.0 to 2.0
For existing ClickFunnels users who wish to migrate from ClickFunnels 1.0 to 2.0, then follow the simple steps below to integrate your Classic and 2.0 accounts.
- Sign up for ClickFunnels 2.0 using the same email address used for your Classic account
- Scroll to the bottom of your dashboard and click on “Integrate ClickFunnels Classic”
- You’ll then be taken to the sign-in page for Classic if you’re not already signed in.
- Once you sign in to your Classic account, click on “Authorize.”
That’s it! You’ll be taken back to your 2.0 account and your two accounts are now linked for billing purposes. After a bit of time, you’ll notice that your billing for your Classic account has been updated. Allow up to 48 hours for your billing in Classic to update.
To enable maintenance mode, you’ll follow the same process as you would for linking the accounts above, however you will see the option to now “Enable Maintenance Mode.” Once authorized, your Classic account will be updated in that mode.
I recently completed this process and it worked well to integrate my accounts. In maintenance mode, your funnels in your Classic account will stay active and live. You’ll be able to access your funnels to maintain them and tweak them. Though, you will not have the ability to build new funnels in Classic. You do all your new builds in ClickFunnels 2.0.
How to Migrate Funnels from ClickFunnels 1.0 to 2.0?
The funnel migration tool, Move My Funnels, is the only tool specifically designed to migrate your existing Classic 1.0 funnels into ClickFunnels 2.0. Otherwise, you will have to manually rebuild each Classic 1.0 funnel in your new 2.0 account.
This is one of the downsides to migrating from CF 1.0 to 2.0 as an existing user. If you have a massive library of funnels, then it will create unnecessary work to manually move over all your funnels.
If you’re an agency with multiple clients wanting to migrate their funnels, then this becomes an even bigger disturbance to your business.
If you prefer to save time, then try out Move My Funnels. In just 10 seconds or less, you’ll be able to move your funnels to your new account. If you only have a few existing funnels, then it may be more feasible to rebuild those funnels yourself.
ClickFunnels 2.0 Review
ClickFunnels 2.0 is still very brand new and continues to evolve each month. Some of these ClickFunnels features I’ll be reviewing may look slightly differently by the time you sign up for your free 30-day trial.
There will also most likely be other features not included on this list. With that in mind, let’s go over the upgraded features the new platform offers to online entrepreneurs.
Clickfunnels 2.0 Features
- Faster Page Load Speed
- Funnel Flows
- Membership Sites
- Payments.AI
- E-Commerce Store Builder
- Blog
- Email Workflows
- Customer Center
- Universal Sections
- Funnel Hub
- Analytics
- CRM
Faster Page Load Speed
One main concern with many ClickFunnels 1.0 users was the slow page load speed. If a funnel takes too long to load then people will generally leave the page, which is not good for business.
The new ClickFunnels 2.0 was built using the JavaScript library, React, and boasts a much faster load speed. According to ClickFunnels, page speed tests show that CF 2.0 is even much faster than many of ClickFunnels’ closest competitors.
Funnel Flows
Funnel building has turned into a much better visual editor, where you can map out all your pages and see the entire funnel on one screen. Additionally, the A/B testing function is much more sophisticated.
You can also add triggers to customize the user experience throughout the funnel. The Funnel Flows are similar to that offered by Funnelytics™.
Membership Sites
Membership sites are a lot more sleeker looking. Customers who purchase courses from you will seamlessly go from your funnel to your customized Membership site center.
Add your lessons and upload documents for your students to access in the course.
Payments.AI
Payments.AI is your new hub for managing all things payments and invoices from products you sell on ClickFunnels 2.0.
You’ll be able to see transactions, manage your payment gateways, as well as create automations to alert your customer to trials ending, credit card expirations, subscription changes and more.
E-Commerce Store Builder
The e-commerce store builder will allow for cart funnels and entire store builds. You’ll be able to do order bumps and customize each product funnel to the buyer’s purchasing journey.
When I initially started using ClickFunnels 1.0 over 7 years ago, this was a tedious task to do manually. I would use an e-commerce template as a funnel hub of sorts and then build out individual funnels for each product in my makeshift ‘storefront.’
ClickFunnels 2.0 for e-commerce will allow you to do away with softwares such as Shopify and Zipify.
Blog
You can now create a business blog right from within ClickFunnels. Pre-built blog templates are available and ready for you to use. According to ClickFunnels, your blog will be SEO-optimized out of the gate.
As a business owner who already has a blog, I plan to keep my blog on WordPress. Though as time goes on, I’m curious to see how well ClickFunnels 2.0 blogs rank on Google.
Email Workflows
ClickFunnels 2.0 email automations are set to rival that of ActiveCampaign and Aweber. Here, you’ll be able to assign tags to your subscribers to trigger various personalized experiences throughout the email funnel.
Send prospects to email funnels based on their interactions with links and events in your email broadcasts.
Customer Center
The customer center is where your customers can access all their courses, billing information, recurring subscriptions and any other access you have given to them.
It’s also where you can create relevant upsells for your customers based on their previous purchases.
Universal Sections
Universal sections are global sections you can build and place across various pages. Any changes made to this section will reflect across all areas of use.
Funnel Hub
You can think of a Funnel Hub like the homepage of a website. This is where your prospect can learn about your product offerings, Podcast, blog, YouTube channel, etc.
Your hub can serve as a focal point for where your traffic can choose where to learn more about you and your company.
Analytics
Analytics will show you in real-time how your funnels are performing. You’ll see total page views by funnel page, number of opt-in’s, conversion rates, total amount of product sales as well as total number of customers.
You’ll also be able to see how your students are progressing in their respective courses.
CRM
The new CRM funnels are a great tool for team collaboration for agency owners. Your team will have the ability to work on projects, follow up with customers, create company SOPs, and more. This is most similar to Trello boards where real-time collaboration is possible.
ClickFunnels 2.0 Pricing
In this ClickFunnels 2.0 review, I laid out the newest features that the all-in-one business builder tool has to offer. Now, let’s look at the new ClickFunnels 2.0 price.
CLICKFUNNELS 2.0 | MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION | ANNUAL DISCOUNT |
---|---|---|
Basic | $147 / Month | $127 / Month |
Pro | $197 / Month | $157 / Month |
Funnel Hacker | $297 / Month | $208 / Month |
ClickFunnels 2.0 annual discounts are offered to members who pay for the full year. This can add up to significant savings of hundreds and thousands of dollars over the years.
Is ClickFunnels 2.0 Worth It?
ClickFunnels 2.0 is worth it for me, but that doesn’t mean that it’s worth it for you. It’s a relatively expensive software for new business owners who are just starting out and are not yet generating revenue.
Though by the same token, if you were to take all features of ClickFunnels 2.0 and purchase them separately, then it would be a worthwhile deal to consider.
As a 7-year ClickFunnels customer, I’m a bit biased to this question. For me, ClickFunnels simply makes doing business much easier. With all the new marketing automations ClickFunnels continues to integrate, I’m perfectly content with my decision to migrate over to ClickFunnels 2.0.
Feel free to check out other ClickFunnels alternatives, or if you prefer, feel free to take ClickFunnels 2.0 for a FREE 30-Day test drive. That’s the best way to determine whether ClickFunnels 2.0 is for you!
That’s a wrap for my ClickFunnels 2.0 review. I’ll continue to come back to this post and revise it as new features continue to roll out! Next, you may be interested in reading about the best ClickFunnels courses and trainings.
