If you’re planning to be front and center in the crowd to see your favorite artist, get ready for some serious standing time. 

When I went, we got to our standing area early to be as close as possible to the stage and our favorite artists. 

Trust me, wearing a good pair of comfy sneakers or boots (with Dr. Scholl’s insoles) makes all the difference!

In general, having comfortable clothes on if you plan to stay the full day will keep you feeling great and able to enjoy the festival without any discomfort.

Where to Eat Near Lollapalooza

Lollapalooza has food vendors, but they can be pricey and the portions are usually small. 

You might end up spending $30 on a quick meal that barely fills you up.

The good news is your wristband lets you exit and re-enter the venue twice more after you enter. So, you can step out for some cheaper grub!

An easy way to save money eating near Lollapalooza is by using the Seated app, which gives you up to 35% cash back on your food and drinks. 

You can cash out your rewards to gift cards, such as free Starbucks gift cards, Amazon, Sephora and more.

On a recent trip to Lollapalooza, I stopped by Pinstripes Chicago for a quick lunch, one of the Seated app restaurants. 

They were offering 35% cash back on your dining receipt (excluding taxes and tip). My meal and drink subtotal was $33, and Seated rewarded me with $12 cash back!

It was a fantastic deal and an incredibly delicious meal!

What are the Must-Have Essentials for the Lollapalooza Festival?

Does Lollapalooza Have a Dress Code?

Lollapalooza doesn’t have a specific dress code. They just recommend dressing comfortably and appropriately for the weather.

What’s the Bag Policy at Lollapalooza?

Lollapalooza Chicago has a clear bag policy. 

Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″. 

Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, are allowed without being clear but cannot exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″. 

Hydration packs are allowed if they are empty and have no more than two pockets.
