ClickFunnels Affiliate Program Review | Earning Thousands in Referral Commission

If you’re thinking of joining the ClickFunnels affiliate program, then this post is going to be an eye-opening one for you! 

I’ll be sharing with you everything you need to know about earning affiliate commissions, various ClickFunnels products to promote, as well as my personal journey to my first $4,500 in ClickFunnels affiliate commissions.

ClickFunnels Affiliate Program Review

I actually became a customer of ClickFunnels well before I became a Clickfunnels affiliate. Back then, they weren’t offering the best ClickFunnels pricing deal that many new customers are able to take advantage of now. 

But I can’t feel super bad about it since the high ticket ClickFunnels affiliate program pays for my monthly membership fee to their sales funnel software tool. Essentially, I get access to all the perks of being a ClickFunnels Platinum member for free. And it wasn’t super hard to do. 

As a matter of fact, I’ll be sharing with you my most lucrative ClickFunnels strategy to help you do the same. 

Let’s first start by going over some questions you may have about the affiliate program.

Is ClickFunnels Affiliate Program Free?

Yes, it’s free to join. You can apply to become an approved affiliate at whatsyourdreamcar.com

You’ll be asked a few simple questions and pretty much easily get approved. Once approved, you’ll be assigned a unique affiliate ID. Your affiliate ID will be incorporated into the URL of the ClickFunnels product you are promoting, which becomes your affiliate link.

The more challenging part is actually promoting the ClickFunnels products and making your first affiliate sale. But I got you covered further along in this article.

ClickFunnels Affiliate Commission Payout

ClickFunnels pays its affiliates through Tipalti.

Once you create your Tipalti account, you can choose to get paid via:

• Direct Deposit / ACH

• Wire Transfer

• Check

• Or PayPal

Here are other important details to know:

• The minimum payout is $100 in order to get paid. That’s basically one sale of the 100% commissionable One Funnel Away Challenge.

• Thirty days must elapse from the date you made the affiliate sale in order for it to count towards the next payout schedule.

• ClickFunnels affiliate payouts are made on the 1st and 15th of each month. In the event either of these dates fall on a holiday, commission payments will be paid on the business day preceding the holiday.

How Much Can a ClickFunnels Affiliate Make?

When I signed up for the ClickFunnels affiliate program, all new affiliates earned a 40% commission across all ClickFunnels commissionable products. But that’s no longer the case. In my opinion, that’s a good thing. Their new affiliate program now attracts more serious affiliates and filters out the ‘get rich quick’ affiliate marketers. 

You know what else it does? 

It leaves more opportunity for those driven affiliates to earn more affiliate commissions with less competition. So if that sounds like you, then keep reading.

Let’s break down how much you can make as a new clickfunnels affiliate. 

EVERY affiliate can still earn 40% commissions on select front-end offers. This includes:

DotCom Secrets Book

Expert Secrets Book

Traffic Secrets Book

In addition to 40% commissions on front-end offers, you also have the opportunity to receive 100% commission for sales of the One Funnel Away Challenge and 30 Days Summit. 

This is known as a ClickFunnels front-end affiliate, and is generally where you start as a new Clickfunnels affiliate.

Once you have earned $1,000 commission in a calendar month, you will be eligible to apply to be a ClickFunnels open affiliate.

As a ClickFunnels open affiliate, you will earn a 30% recurring commission on the ClickFunnels SAAS (their sales funnel software builder), plus 40% on front-end offers.

Affiliates who demonstrate outstanding compliance with all terms of the ClickFunnels agreement, and maintain 40 unique Clickfunnels paid user accounts on a monthly basis, can apply to become a ClickFunnels qualified affiliate.

As a ClickFunnels qualified affiliate, you will earn a 40% recurring commission on ClickFunnels SAAS plus 40% on front-end offers. 

Now even if you decide to not apply to be a ClickFunnels affiliate, but you’re a ClickFunnels’ user, you can still earn an affiliate commission.

Any ClickFunnels’ user who chooses to display a ‘made with ClickFunnels’ badge on their funnel will have an opportunity to receive a 20% badge commission.

ClickFunnels Badge commissions are earned when a prospect creates a ClickFunnels account or purchases a ClickFunnels product or service using your badge affiliate link.

How to Make Money as a ClickFunnels Affiliate

If you connect with other ClickFunnels affiliates, you’ll find out that pretty much everyone has their own strategy and best method to making money with ClickFunnels. 

So I can only share from my personal experience on what has worked best for me.

Without a doubt, when I decided to get serious about promoting ClickFunnels, the first thing I did was take the free ClickFunnels Affiliate Bootcamp.

My story is a little different from other beginner ClickFunnels affiliates. 

I earned my first few thousand dollars in affiliate commissions without even realizing it. Yeah, who doesn’t realize they have a boatload of cash sitting in their affiliate account?

Most beginner affiliate marketers are glued to their affiliate dashboard constantly refreshing to see if a new affiliate sale came in. 

But at the time, I was busy selling my e-com online course. 

I had successfully used a ClickFunnels sales funnel to launch multiple products on Amazon, and I shared this funnel with my audience. And by simply sharing my ClickFunnels template, I earned commissions with each new ClickFunnels user account. 

These days, new affiliates can’t use this method to earn a commission with the new ClickFunnels affiliate program.

I don’t like being on video. That’s crazy for someone like me to say who has earned affiliate commissions by promoting ClickFunnels products on YouTube. 

But that’s the beauty of YouTube! 

You can make money on YouTube with or without showing your face. You simply have to get creative about it. And that’s what I did.

In this YouTube video promoting the ClickFunnels Copywriting Secrets book by Jim Edwards, I decided to turn myself into a stick figure! Well, really it was the creative editing work of my video guy with a little direction from me.

(Update: My video guy no longer works on long-form video editing. His agency was recently acquired and is focused on short form video marketing creatives.)

The more knowledge I share on YouTube about the affiliate product I’m promoting, the more affiliate commissions I earn. I do a lot of this through ClickFunnels tutorials and product reviews.

That’s why it’s so important to actually become a customer of the affiliate product you plan to promote. You’ll have a better understanding as to why it makes sense for someone to purchase it from you. And with that insider knowledge, you’ll be able to better articulate that information to your end customer.
